Streaking success with Yuvan Shankar Raja and G.V Prakash, Karthi has joined hands with Vidhyasagar for the first time. ‘Siruthai’ has a mix of melody and fast beat numbers.
1. Naan Romba Romba Nalla

Lyrics: Arivumathi
The song will be an instant hit as it grasps into our senses for the first time we hear it. The song boasts of commercial ingredients well tailored for the subject. The title song carries the trademark style of ‘Jinthak Thak Thak’ as it was in original version and Kannada remake. The song has a peppy beat with catchy lines. Ranjith has rendered the song with high energy levels.

2. Rakkamma Rakku….
Singers: Ranjith, Suchitra & Roshan
Lyrics: Arivumathi
Remember ‘Ithandi Keppakilange’ from ‘Dhool’. The complete song has the same repetition throughout the song. The singers Ranjith, Suchitra and Roshan try enhancing the song’s feel. But it remains passable on whole. It may take some more time for the song to do well and ‘Luck’ is in the visual outputs.
3. Azhaga Poranthuputa
Singers: Malathy Laxman & Priyadharshini
Lyrics: Viveka
This song is precisely for the ardent fans of Meghna Naidu. Again, the ‘Kuthu’ song lacks what it should actually carry. Maybe, filmmaker Shiva and music director Vidhyasagar have conceptualized of something different as it may do greater rounds with continuous airings on FM Stations.

4. Aararo Aariraro (Thalattu)
Singers: Srivadhini
Lyrics: Pa. Vijay
Though it’s a theme song with a shorter duration, it carries riveting theme in lyrics with a mellisonant tune. It maybe a cradlesong for the baby in the film, but it’s such an emotional song that keeps us transfixed by its spell. Good work by Pa. Vijay, Vidhyasagar and Srivadhini.
5. Chellam Endha Chellam
Vocals: Udit Narayanan, Charmukhi
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar

The splendid melody by Udit Narayanan and Charmukhi sounds perfect for a duet number. Shot across the exotic locales of Mauritius. It’s sure to be a big treat for the listeners as Vidhyasagar includes few innovative traits like the English lyrics that appear in between the lines.
On the whole, ‘Siruthai’ songs have 3 tracks ‘Naan Nalla’, ‘Vaada Chellam’ and ‘Thalattu’ that pick your interests for the first itself. Couple of other tracks is sure to gain its momentum by next few weeks.

Again Vikram with Susi Ganesan [TFC]

Last time, Vikram & Susi Ganesan came together for the film ‘Kandhasamy’; the results weren’t exceeding our expectations. However the film endeavored with good business in both Tamil and Telugu box office. Now we hear that South Indian film industry’s Singanamala Ramesh has reportedly signed the duo for a trilingual movie.

According to the sources the film will be a commercial entertainer with lots of top-notching technical values. Deeksha Seth & Abhinaya are expected to play female lead roles and Yuvan Shankar Raja will score music.
Producer Ramesh looks confident with the film as he admits that it has best commercial values and interesting plot with technical bonanzas.

Alas! Things are happening as he had planned for. Actor Vijay’s recent meeting with Rahul Gandhi stirred up his fans about entry into politics. Merely, the scenarios are slightly turning up against him.

Maybe, his fans are chirked up over here, but those in Canada, London, Norway and other foreign countries are much queered up with Vijay’s decision about joining Congress Political party. According to them, they aren’t against Vijay entering politics, but patently it was Congress that failed to safeguard human rights of Eelam Tamilians whose lives were deteriorated.
Although, Vijay hasn’t answered to this situation, it may soon urge him to come up with some resolutions.

 

Kaavalan Will Release On Pongal [TFC]

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming flick 'Kavalan' directed by Siddique is again in trouble.
The Tamil Nadu Theater Owners Association at an emergency meeting in Tiruchi on Thursday has decided "not to extend any support for the release of 'Kaavalan'. Kaavalan has already obtained 'U' certificate and buzz was good on the movie.
A firm decision has been taken by the theater owners that Vijay has to pay for the losses suffered on account of Sura and if not there is no question of Kaavalan releasing.
The film is under terrific pressure by big people in the society for not screening it for this Pongal. Meanwhile Vijay also doesn't extend his support to solve the issue and the overseas release of the film has run into trouble as the new distributor of the film has not been able to get good screens.
There is a huge impact on theaters due to the failure of 'Manmadhan Ambu' and the theater owners are relied upon 'Siruthai' to cover their losses that occured due to the release of many failure flicks.
If Kaavalan has to release for Pongal all these issues should be sorted out in the next 48 hours and the overseas prints of the film should leave the lab by Monday the least, to ensure the smooth release of the flick.

Sameera Reddy wedding in 2011 [TFC]

The girl from Mumbai coasts witnessed a warm welcome in South Indian film industry as she made it bigger with ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ followed by Ajith’s ‘Aasal’. The actress has now signed three bilingual films that are scheduled to release in 2011. The first one to release from this bandwagon is ‘Nadunisi Naigal’ that will release simultaneously in Telugu as ‘Erra Gulabeelu’.

Now that her parents have started looking out for a perfect groom, the actress utters that she’ll get married so as to fulfill her parents’ wishes.
Sameera Reddy will start shooting for Lingusamy’s ‘Vettai’ from January and will repeat her role in Telugu version titled ‘Veta’ with Mahesh Babu in lead character. Apart from this film, she’ll starting her schedules for Prabhu Deva’s next film with Vishal by mid of 2011.

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi warned Trisha [TFC]

Petty beauty 'Trisha' is facing threats from M Karunanidhi family, who is in deep affair with Udayanidhi Stalin, the grandson of Karunanidhi.

Beauty queen Trisha has handcuffed Udhayanidhi Stalin in her love and made the film 'Kuruvi' with her as a heroine which was a dud at the box office. Later she made him to make 'Manmadhan Ambu' (Manmadha Baanam in Telugu) investing Rs.30 crores, which failed miserably in both the versions.

Knowing that Trisha is spoiling the family of Udayanidhi Stalin with her oomph CM Karunanidhi and his son Stalin father of Udayanidhi warned Trish to keep away from him.
The family members felt that Udayanidhi is not concentrating on his films due to Trisha's affair and hence incurring losses.

Rajini Calling Kamal Ro SRMC Hospital [TFC]

Superstar Rajnikanth, a close friend of actor Vijayakumar for more than the past three decades, visited the SRMC Hospital in Porur yesterday to call on his friend who’s been admitted to the Hospital following a second ‘heart-attack’.

Vijayakumar, who has been caught in an unexpected difference of opinion with his own daughter and ex-actress Vanitha, has seen a lot in the last few months.  The daughter-father duo had filed complained against each other with the Police seeking action.  While Vanitha claims that Vijayakumar assaulted her and was denying her to be with her son (born of her first marriage), the latter has claimed that Vanitha’s second husband had assaulted himself.
In the meantime, Vijayakumar complained of severe chest pain on Wednesday and was rushed to the SRMC Hospital.  Still in the ICU despite having been declared ‘out of danger’, Vijayakumar had a visitor in Rajnikanth yesterday.  After spending a few minutes with Vijayakumar, Rajni spoke to doctors attending on him and enquired about his progress.
Later in the day, Sarath Kumar (president of ‘Nadigar Sangam’) and his wife Radhika Sarath Kumar and director Kathir called on the ailing actor.
