Santhanam has joined hands with Karthi for the first time in Siruthai [TFC]

Karthi who started off with ‘Paruthi Veeran’ is having a great time Kollywood. Karthi’s upcoming flick ‘Siruthai’ which was touted to be released on December has been postponed to Pongal. The reason for the delay is the release of biggies like Vaanam, Manmadhan Ambu, Kavalan etc.
The movie is directed by Siva and music is being scored by Vidyasagar. Studio Green Gnanavel Raja has teamed up with Karthi for the third time after ‘Paruthi Veeran’ and ‘Naan Mahan Alla’. Milky white beauty Tammana is playing the female lead in ‘Siruthai’.  Siva has directed mega hit movies like ‘Sangam’ and ‘Souryam’ in Telugu.
The movie is filmed in woods of the Western Ghats and is said to throw a lot of action. Santhanam has joined hands with Karthi for the first time. Santhanam, the latest sensation will play a pivotal part in maintaining the pace of the screenplay. A movie insider said that “Comedy sequences have demanded more takes during the shooting as the dialogues pronounced by Santham were so hilarious.”‘Siruthai’ is the remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Vikramakurudu’ directed by SS Rajamouli. Karthi for the first time is donning dual roles and Siruthai happens to be his first remake movie too.
