The connection between Bollywood and Kollywood seems to be growing stronger by each day.

With ‘Dabaang’ made into ‘Osthi’ and ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ being made into Hindi with Amy Jackson in the lead, ‘Ko’ being made into Hindi with Akshay Kumar playing the lead, there’s another movie joining this league.

Karthi’s hit ‘Siruthai’ is being remade in Hindi with Akshay Kumar, again, playing the lead along with Sonakshi Sinha. The movie will be directed by Prabhu Deva and the music tuned in by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

In fact, ‘Siruthai’ is a remake of Telugu super hit ‘Vikramarkudu’ that had Ravi Teja and Anushka in the lead.

The project will go on floors this July.
