Filmmaker Sargunam bagged the honors for his sang-froid entertainer ‘Kalavani’ that was declared as one of the best film in 2010. Here comes his second collaboration with Vimal for the film ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’ that is produced by S. Muruganandham and N. Puranna of Village Theatres. The film marks the debut of music director Gibran and he gifts us some good numbers.
1. Senga Solla Kaara
Vocals: Anitha
Lyrics: Vairamuthu
The song lifts our spirits with the overall presentation as every aspect - Composition, Vocalisms and Lyrics is outstanding. The visuals are likely to enhance the song to a greater magnitude. Anitha has a very broad voice and the musical accompaniment is so splendid.
2. Sara Sara Saarakaathu
Vocals: Chinmayee
Lyrics: Vairamuthu
‘Sara Sara Saarakaathu’ again carries almost all the best traits that was present in the previous song. Chinmayee tries shifting her paradigms crooning the song in a different style. Vairamuthu gives a simple touch to the lyrics, but becomes finely exquisite with the score of Gibran. The song will be an excellent visual treat for the audiences.
3. Thanjavuru Maadathi
Vocals: Jayamurthy
Lyrics: Ve Ramaswamy
