Sun Pictures has acquired the distribution rights of ‘Thillalangadi’ starring ‘Jeyam’ Ravi and Tamannaah in the lead and directed by Ravi’s brother ‘Jeyam’ Raja. This would be the fifth film under the combination of the brothers.
‘Thillalangadi’ is the remake of the Telugu hit ‘Kick’ in which Ravi Teja, Ileana and Shaam played lead roles. Incidentally, Shaam is said to be essaying the same role he played n the Telugu version, which is almost equal to that of the hero. The film started generating interest and positive feedback from the date it was announced and as such, it was expected that it would be acquired by Sun Pictures.
Sun Pictures has already bagged some big movies including Vijay-Tamannaah starrer ‘Suraa’ and Suriya-Anoushka starrer ‘Singam’.
