A little under 10 years after he orchestrated the most horrific terrorist attack in American history, Al-Qaeda founder and leader Osama bin Laden was killed by US forces in an upscale mansion in Abbotabad, near Islamabad in Pakistan. US president Barack Obama made a televised speech on Sunday night, announcing the death of America's most-wanted man, who had a bounty of $25 million on his head. The news was greeted by instant cheers across the world, also bringing closure to the kin of victims of the 9/11 attacks.
