Aravaan, the magnum opus of director Vasanthabalan, will see the light of the day on the day of lights, that is, Diwali. ‘The film is fast taking shape in a mountain range near Madurai,’ circles close to the unit say.
Produced by T Siva’s Amma Creations, Aravaan, a period film, has Aadhi (Eeram & Mirugam fame), Pasupathy and Dhanshika in lead roles. It is based on a popular Tamil novel Kaval Kottam by Su Venkatesh.
‘A huge set resembling a village in the 17th century has been erected on a hilly area near the temple town of Madurai. All the members of the cast and crew have been giving their best,’ add the sources.
