The film is a box office record breaker and declared as a smash hit. Now all eyes in Kollywood are on this film, that’s to remake it in Tamil. Directors in Kollywood are wanting to remake Dookudu. But buzz is that interestingly Dookudu’s hero Mahesh Babu is reported to have spoken to Vijay that he would be the perfect suit as hero in Tamil version. In turn Vijay is also said to be pondering to remake this film in Tamil. Remember Vijay’s earlier films Pokkiri and Ghilli were Telugu remakes and they were blockbusters.
