The Diwali fervor has set in among movie buffs and those in the industry are striving hard on the post-production work of their films as October 26 is nearing. Meanwhile Udhaynidhi Stalin has announced Suriya starrer '7aum Arivu's Chennai theatre list to eager fans!

Sathyam (Studio 5), two screens at Escape in Express Avenue, two screens in Inox, Devi, Devi Paradise, Abirami 7 star, Sangam, Roopam, PVR 123, Udhayam, Mini Udhayam, Suriyan, two screens in Kamala, AVM Rajeshwari, I Dream, Raj Saidapet, AGS 1234, AGS at OMR 123, three screens in Rakhi, four screens in Rohini, Sri Brintha Complex, Prarthana, Aradhana, Ganapathyram are the confirmed theatres that will be screening '7aum Arivu' in Chennai.

Udhaynidhi also expressed that he will be announcing more theatres in the city shortly, also his debut film as an actor 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' will see its trailer screening along with this movie!

When worried Vijay fans quizzed him on whether their Ilayathalapathy's film will see light of the day on Diwali, Udhaynidhi replied saying "I think Velayudham and Mayakkam Enna also this Diwali".

It all started when a journalist oppugned A.R Murugadoss, 'Like Mementoes to Ghajini, could you let us know your inspiration for '7am Arivu'?' Without a pause, A.R Murugadoss stunningly replied, “Maybe, makers of Hollywood film may remake it.”

'WHAT IS OPERATION RED?' - THEME OF '7AM ARIVU'

It all happened during the press meet of '7am Arivu' that was held yesterday at Hotel Residency Tower in Chennai. Addressing the media channels, A.R Murugadoss and his entire crew didn't miss to sing praises of Red Giant Movies Udhayanidhi Stalin for making it happen. 'No one else would have burned candles at both ends for a newfangled project' started off A.R Murugadoss, who continued adding that it's a shame and disgrace for the entire state of Tamil Nadu for having forgotten a hero - BODHIDHARMAN, who is worshipped as a God in China and Vietnam. He is the Guru of Shaolin Monks and spread Zen across the country. He is a medical scientist and Osho has authored a book on him for more than 300 pages. 'I am sure that the film has already achieved 99% success and the result of 1% is awaited on Dewali' added A.R Murugadoss.

Surya says that he has strained very much for 7am Arivu for the sake of the audience & fans

7am Arivu is the film which has Surya and Shruti Hassan in the lead roles. This film is directed by A.R Murugadoss. The audio CD and the trailer of the film was released yesterday evening at Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam.

Surya speaking on this occasion said, “When A.R Murugadoss met me, he said that we should not do ordinary entertaining films and it should be of a different genre. After Ghajini we are joining hands for the second time. Because of this there will be lots of expectations among the people. So there was a compulsion that we have to narrate a different thing in this film. I have strained a lot for the sake of my fans and audience. People are still worshipping Bodhidharma. In order to give life to the role, I underwent strenuous workouts to get my six packs. This film will be an important one in Tamil cinema. “
Director A.R Murugadoss while speaking said, “After directing Hindi Ghajini, I got lots of offers in Hindi. But I came to Tamil because of the affection I am having for it. In 7am Arivu there are lot of things beyond cinema. The opening 15 minutes will be astounding. One Crore has been sent for one minute. 15 Crores were spent for 15 minutes sequences. This was possible because of the producer Udhayanidhi Stalin. Surya has strained himself very much in getting his six packs and had acted in the climax sequences. This film will be a pride to the Tamilians living throughout the world. “

Velayudham Vs 7am Arivu (TFC)

Actor Surya's upcoming film '7am Arivu' is likely to clash with Vijay's 'Velayudham' on Dewali. The two stars, who starred together in films like 'Friends' more than a decade back, are all set to vie with each other for garnering the public's attention on 26th October this year.

While 'Velayudham' has Genelia and Hansika Motwani opposite Vijay and has been directed by 'remake' king 'Jayam' Raja, Surya's '7am Arivu' has been directed by the diminutive A.R Murugadoss and pits the debutant Shruti Hassan opposite Surya. 'Velayudham' is said to be a wholesome commercial entertainer whereas '7am Arivu' would be a never-before kind of film in Tamil cinema.

Surya plays the triple roles of a scientist, a Buddhist Monk and a Circus artiste in the film which has been set in various periods of time. The talented and pretty Shruti Hassan would also be making her much-awaited debut in this film as a heroine. With her looks and grace, she would surely be luring the Tamil youths in the days to come, predict observers.
The audio launch of '7am Arivu' has been scheduled to be held at the Chennai Trade Center on the 22nd September, at 6.00 PM. It'd be a grand ceremony attended by the bigwigs of the Tamil film industry. The producer, Udhayanidhi Stalin, has promised some high voltage performances during the event.

Surya to woo Abhinaya in ’7am Arivu’ (TFC)

The cat is let out of the bag as news has been out that Shruti Hassan is not the only heroine for Surya in his forthcoming '7am Arivu' that is gearing up to see a Dewali release. Abhinaya of 'Nadodigal' and 'Eesan' fame plays Surya's lady love for one of his characters.

Although director A.R Murugadoss had urged his team not to divulge this information to the press, the news had got out through a media organization.
