Filmmaker Panneer Selvam proved his proficiency in filmmaking with his debut directorial ‘Renigunta’ that won him critical acclaims. Now he is close to completing his next film ‘18 Vayasu’ that is produced by SS Chakravarthy with Johnny of ‘Renigunta’ fame in lead role. Shedding light on the film, Panneer Selvam utters, “Soon after ‘Renigunta’, I wanted to make a different film and conceptualized the script along with my team. The reason why we wanted Johnny for the project was because it is easy to mould him and get the best. He has done a fabulous job exceeding our expectations.”
On his turn Johnny said that though the film had backbreaking job for him, it was easy since he shares a good rapport with director Panneer Selvam.
The duo promises that though the film is a romantic drama, it will better ‘Renigunta’ in both narrative and technical front.
