Basha Vs Vettai Mannan? (TFC)

Revenge stories are a common genre in many movies and the success rate depends upon the stardom. Simbu’s Vettai Mannan, as disclosed by its director Nelson, is a sort of revenge story for the friend’s murderous death.

Simbu and Jai are in the lead roles in this movies as bosom friends while the story will get to the full circle when Simbu raises for the revenge on his friend’s death. This is somewhat a close call to Rajnikanth-Mammootty starrer Mani Ratnam’s Thalapathy of the 90s. So is the script for the same Rajnikanth starrer Basha where he would avenge his friend’s death.
Simbu’s role in this movie will be of the rogue to rich gangster from a secluded area in North Chennai with Jai hanging around his necks. This means that hired hooliganism of local Chennai spreading its wings to other countries for the sake of heavy money.
Thus the movie hangs around Chennai and the panorama of Brazil in the entire sessions. The glamour, an essential element for Simbu is thrust from Deeksha Seth, who will make her appearance after her role in Vikram starrer Raja Pattai. She entered into this project despite her examination schedule as the screenplay impressed her much.
