Don’t question the coincidence of the title’s similarity with their family and political identity. Like Sona’s using the title value “Kanimozhi”, “Udhayan” could also be a gimmick by the debutant director to desperately get to cast Arulnidhi Thamizharasu in his film.All the director would want is a debut film. After the election results, Arulnidhi was so frustrated that he thought his future was at stake. Despite his worries, his film “Udhayan” is releasing today. Arulnidhi’s debut venture saw him act well but he exposed the typical shortcomings of a debutant.
Arulnidhi believes to have overcome his limitations. Director Chaplin debuts with Udhayan and Manikanth Kadri has scored the music. Udhayan’s story is set in Chennai about a youngster in the city. It is expected to be not so difficult for the city bred Arulnidhi to perform the title role. Hope, “Udhayan” brings good results for “Arulnidhi Thamizharasu”.
