They featured the lead pair Dhanush and Shruti Hassan sharing close moments with each other in different backgrounds.
Aishwarya adds: "3 was initially scripted by me as a short film. After understanding that it would commercially click as a full-length feature film, we (she and Dhanush) decided to make it as a movie. That's how it happened."
Claiming that her father Superstar Rajnikanth is fully aware of the story of '3', Aishwarya says, "In fact it was he who encouraged me to direct the film. I have started the shooting with the blessings of my parents and my in-laws."
