Surya breaks his own record now (TFC)

The most loved child of Box Office Surya keeps striking the victorious chords. His Dewali release ‘7am Arivu’ has taken a huge opening across all the centres and is now crowned as the year’s blockbuster. The trade analysts have now reported that last year Surya’s ‘Singam’ was a superb hit as it spanned whooping amount of profit for the producers.

Now Surya has broken his own records as his ‘7am Arivu’ has created a record of gaining big collections within a week after its release.
The film had kept everyone high on expectations right from the beginning and it has exceeded the anticipations.

Nadigar Sangam to ban actresses from donning ‘sexy attires’ at functions (TFC)

The South Indian Cine Artistes’ Association (SICAA), otherwise known as Nadigar Sangam, is said to be seriously contemplating imposing a ‘blanket ban’ on actresses from appearing in ‘revealing’ costumes - especially exposing their thighs - at filmy functions and audio-launches.

The Sangam is also mulling over passing ‘instructions’ to all its members to talk only about film(s) and related issues at audio-launches and not dwell on other unwa(rr)anted issues.  The various controversies arising out of speeches and utterances made by actors and technicians during those functions have reportedly made the Sangam think about instructing on what to speak and what not to speak.
There have been many instances in the past when actresses appearing in revealing and (s)exposing costumes have created waves and kept the photographers busy clicking their pictures.  It has become very common among actresses to attend the audio-launches clad in macro-mini skirts and other dresses which reveal ample portions of their thighs to kept he photographers and the audience busy.
Just when the photographers get clicking, these actresses object to them getting photographed.  Their attitude seems to be like, ‘I’d don whatever I want and I’m beyond criticism’.  In one such instance, Shriya Saran’s ultra-glamourous dress during the audio-launch of Sivaji: The Boss by Shankar a few years back is still fresh in the minds of pressmen as well as those who attended the event.

Shriya Saran was last seen together with Jeeva in Rowthiram. Now reports are that Shriya Saran has signed on new Tamil film.

When asked about her next film in Tamil Shriya Saran has denied to reveal any details of the film. Shriya Saran said, “All I can say is that it would have a leading actor as protagonist and that she is content with the kind of films she is offered,’’ she said.

Shriya Saran added that several people want to know about her next project in Kollywood. She further said, ‘’I am going to act in a new film with a popular star. Also, I am part of Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam movies. I am satisfied with the kind of films I act in’’.

Shriya Saran rushed to Mumbai from Bangalore as she eager to spend her Dewali with her parents. She was shooting in Bangalore with Mohan Lal for a Malayalam movie ‘Casanova’.

Shriya Saran dons the role of a Slum Girl in a Hollywood Film (TFC)

n Tamil Shriya Saran has practically no film in her hand. She was pinning her hopes in her last Tamil film Rowthiram. Her role in this film was good but unfortunately this film bombed at the box office.

Now it is also understood that she is vacating her rented house in Chennai and she has started concentrating on Telugu, Hindi and English films. Now she is donning the role of a slum girl in the Hollywood film Midnight Children. This film which is being directed by Deepa Mehta is adapted from the novel Midnight Children written by the world renowned novelist Salman Rushdie.
Shriya Saran has done lots of home work for the sake of this role. She has spent quite some time in the slums and studied their way of dressing and body language. Shriya Saran says that she has donned the most unimaginable role in this film which she has not done so far.

Karthi to romance Shriya Saran in Saguni (TFC)

 

Well the heroine for Karthi’s Saguni has been finalized. She is the gorgeous beauty of Kollywood who has shared the screen space with top league actors in South cinema. Any guesses guys? She is none other than Shriya Saran who is going to romance Karthi in Saguni.
Saguni is the first political satire film for Karthi and he plays the role which is filled with full of suspense. It is only during the climax we get to witness the real face of Karthi’s role. Veteran actress Radhika Sarath Kumar who has been missing screen presence for quite sometime is all set to be back on big screen with Saguni.
Radhika says “My role in the film Saguni is very powerful and so I have signed the film as when I heard the script.
